HOVANEE / Hotel operations
Room readiness,
with a next step.
Housekeeping, maintenance and planned services need more than a room status. Give the team a dated workload, a responsible person and a record of what was actually completed.

Housekeeping
Plan the work against the stay.
Configure stayover and linen rules, review generated tasks and distribute the daily workload. Staff can record completion or an unperformed task with its reason, keeping the handover specific.
- Stayover and linen policies
- Reviewed task generation and bulk assignment
- Daily workload, print and CSV output
Services & planning
Reserve the resource as well as the service.
Use accepted booking-service quantities to plan appointments against configured capacity and opening periods. Meal forecasts use explicit entitlement and serving rules, including arrival, departure and children.
- Service outlook and meal forecasts
- Resource hours, capacity and closed dates
- Rescheduling, cancellation and actual completion
A working example
A busy departure morning.
Review the rooms due for cleaning, distribute the workload and follow inspection. An unresolved maintenance issue stays visible instead of disappearing into a room-status label.
In practice
- 01
Plan
Review the day’s stays, accepted services and unresolved agreements.
- 02
Assign
Allocate the work and appointments against the configured team and capacity.
- 03
Close the loop
Record completion, cancellation or the reason work was not performed.

Questions for your demonstration
Use these details to test the workflow against the way your hotel operates.
Can cleaning and linen changes follow different rules?
Yes. Configure stayover and linen policies, review the proposed tasks and assign the daily workload. Staff record completion or why a task was not performed, so an uncompleted task is not presented as finished.
Does a booked service automatically reserve a time slot?
No. Accepted service quantities establish what can be scheduled. A separate appointment checks the configured resource, duration, opening hours and capacity. Scheduling does not add a second charge or claim the service was delivered.
